Gold Buckle Gala

The Gold Buckle Gala is the signature event of the Ozark Empire Fair Foundation.  First held in 2004, the Gala's primary purpose is to recognize the efforts of Southwest Missouri District 4-H and FFA livestock exhibitors who have qualified for the prestigious Gala Auction and to award youth grants and scholarships. 

In addition, funds generated from the Gala are applied toward improvements to the Fair's facilities - a new wash rack, upgrades to the barn and a new Arena are just a few of the projects funded in full or in part by the Foundation and the Gala.

The 2007 Gold Buckle Gala will be held in the air-conditioned West Hall of the E*Plex at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds and is being expanded to include steers, lambs, goats, hogs and hams.  The evening will feature a reception, silent auction, dinner and - the highlight of the evening - the livestock auction.  Please mark your calendar and make plans to join us for this exciting event.  Limited seating available.
